About the Firm

Aims Capital Associates is a corporate law firm licensed by the Rwanda Capital Markets Authority to provide legal and investment advisory services. Founded by Counsel Alloys Mutabingwa, FCIArb (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators), the firm is incorporated in Rwanda and Delaware, USA.

Commissioned by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the firm reviewed over 50 Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) investment projects totalling $610 million, aligned to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement.

The firm is the sole advisor on Climate Finance and investment in Rwanda and a Professional Service Provider under the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC) framework.

Zhong Tong is China's largest manufacturer of buses, including electric buses and charging infrastructure. Aims Capital signed a formal representation agreement, appointed as Zhong Tong's representative for green transport promotion across Africa. Agreement signed in Kigali.
